Default adjusting throttle body?

I put a slp throttle body in my ls1 and now the service engine light came on.
I had the code read at autozone and was informed the car thinks it is idleing to high, and I agree. It used to idle at 500 rpms in gear and now it's 700 to 850.
I was looking at the tb and realized there is a screw stop on the linkage that keeps it from closing any farther. Is it ok to turn this and will it bring down the idle that extra couple hundred rpms?

Why sell it, I love my car and I have some good solid plans for the future of my "Smurf Mobile".
