SES light keeps coming on, same code keeps getting pulled!
P0135 and PO155. I believe its the: heater performance bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1 <--or 2 (I cant remember) I was told to swap out the off-road pipes for the cats, and so I did, but the light came on again. I was told that the reason it keeps throwing a code was because the header doesnt heat up fast enough and since the sensors are set further back in the exhaust (on the header), that it gets fooled. What can I do to prevent the light from coming on again? By the way, the whole reason Im so worried about this is because Im due for an inspection because mine expired last month. I just got my code cleared an hour ago and put about 50 miles on it. When would it be a good time to go get it inspected without having any problems? I want to do it as quickly as possible before the code comes back on. Thanks

You can try new O2 sensors, that might help. Maybe your old ones are getting lazy or slow. Doesn't one of the sponsors (LG Motorsports?) sell O2's for LT's with extensions that are heated?

I had the exact same problem except I have the high flow cats. I replaced both 02 sensors and the problem went away and never came back.

I was running the off road pipes and thats when the light first started to come on. I had it cleared and it came on again. I was told to put the cats back on which they are high flow, so I did and it came on again! I wouldnt think that theyre bad, but it could be a possibility. What makes them go bad? I have the other 2 from when I installed the FLP longtube headers, will they work or do I need to buy new ones? Where can I buy O2 extensions? Do the come with the sensor too? Thanks

you can try your old ones from before the headers. i've swaped my o2's out like this a couple of times to make sure that it wasn't the o2 sensor that was bad.
