Broken Recliner Lever?
Amon the shopping list of tedious repairs I've had to do to my car in the last couple of weeks, the recline lever in my 2000 Firebird snapped off. I made a replacement lever today out of polycarbonate that is currently drying from being painted (I'll have pictures tomorrow). I was wondering if this has hapened to anyone else or if I'm just the oddball. If it is a semi-regular occurance, would anyone be interested in potentially buying my replacement style, barring seeing pictures ofcourse. Just wondering if this would be worth marketing since my father and I have a combined 30 years of experience in plastics fabrication and could do these for fairly cheap. (on GMPartsdirect.com the piece goes for $95.26-102.32)

Just so anyone who is interested knows, for $35 I'll make you a replacement handle, include hardware, paint it, and ship it. This material like I said is poly carbonate also known as bullet resistant glass. So as you can guess it is much stronger than the dinky plastic that GM used initially.
