it only needs wheels, an engine, doors, hood, trunklid, interior, etc

That's plain out crazy. I was just looking at 4th gen LS1 car values and people are selling them on auto trader, even the high mileage cars were going for $8k-$9k. Still with everything that car is missing it's only worth about a grand or two.

"Check it out on the web" and "hasn't seen salt or snow" both crack me up! That car has never been finished to even be found on a dragstrip. Therefore, I doubt you'll find any pics of it on the web. Most of the factory floor is gone because of the four-link, and what's left looks pretty rusty on top. I'd say it would be pretty hard to tell whether or not that car was ever on a salt-covered and/or snowy road.
I'm leaning more towards project car that either the owner got bored with, has to sell because of a divorce or ran out of money. Ronnie Duke turned out to be a crook, but at least his cars were way more presentable.
