I have recently been thinking over and over again about what color I want to paint my Trans Am after my front end conversion is done. I have been back and forth between black, white, and midnight blue. I just cant make a decision. Lately my mind has been swaying toward the more unique side, so lets see some extremely colorful and unique LS Trans Ams.

Yeah man I think you've inspired me to paint mine that color. Its bold but not "Hey Im a jackass." Its going to be LS style remember?

Medium Blue Metallic or Hugger Orange.


Bright Purple Metallic is my favorite 4th gen color.

If you want a deep rich color I would suggest a deep deep Red very close to a black cherry.
Or I like the Synergy Green idea but make it a bit darker.

Yeah I completely agree with you. I saw a deep red that made my jaw drop. Not sure though. Ive been going back and forth every 10 seconds.

Mine is SOM. So I am bias to the color. But I do love the Deep Purple Metallic or the Black Raven (You see them on Cadillacs, like a cherry black color.)

That green is hideous! I'd go the orange color on SSick's Camaro, a very nice silver(not grey), or possibly the electric blue the c5 z06's were.

Black cherry sounds good. As far as any red, I hate just "red". It's gotta have some metallic or depth to it, like a cranberry red or burgandy. I had a mercury cougar that was a nice cranberry red, it looked gorgeous in the sun with a nice coat of wax. I love Hugger Orange, but only on the Camaro, you can't rock that color on a Bird IMO.

I really like blues though. I love the NBM on my car, but if I were to repaint I'd go a brighter shade, and maybe add a touch of flake or a pearl clear. Something to make it pop. I actually really like the blue that's on the Chevy p/u next to the Synergy Green SS in the thread posted by Ocala.

Or even peal white with blue stripes, like the 30th T/A, or the single wide blue stripe like the the 2nd gens had.

If I didn't do blue, I'd seriously consider charcoal or gunmetal grey, as I loved that color on my GTA, and think it would look great on a 4th gen. I think that color with some ghost flames would look SICK.
