Not gunmetal, not silver, not quite charcoal either, but in different light it is each of the three! PM if you decide to do something similiar for more info, it has pearl and metal flake(mica)

Step outside the box of factory GM colors if you really want to be unique.
Ford Kona Blue?
Mercedes Silver?
Pretty much any wild orange/green/yellow from Porsche.
Another one that I think would be pretty cool would be the root beer metallic that comes factory on some Honda's, it shows a lot of different shades depending on the light.

This color really looks great with chrome wheels.
