That is really unusual. Thanks for posting. I notice the dealer is asking quite a chunk of change. $15,000 is top $$ IMO. Above that is getting too close to similar mileage LS1 examples. Dealers don't keep things in perspective sometimes.
Interesting that the model year was a '96 because I test drove a new '96 Camaro Z28 with red cloth seats (kind of a plaid) back when I was searching for my first new F-body. The exterior was white and it was an interesting combo. I passed on it to get a new blue/green chameleon Formula.

$15-16K is probably more realistic especially if that interior is that rare. If someone wants the car bad enough they'll pay it as I doubt you'll find too many "new 96's". I'm sure if that was someones car on the forum they wouldn't take $10K for it.

Anyone else notice the traction control button? I didn't think you could even GET traction control on a 6 speed car until 1998. Definitely a super-rare option there for an LT1 6 speed car.
Interesting to note also that it looks to be exactly the same type of switch used for fog lamps.
I know you could get it on automatic cars at least as early as 1994, but the switch was completely different, and much further back on the console, near the console lid. I believe they put it right next to the 'performance shift' button on these cars, if equipped.
