Default Something is leaking.

When I drove off to school I noticed there was a damp spot where my car has been. When I was heading to work yesterday I scraped the bottom of my car. Any ideas what it might be? This 2000 trans am a4 is my daily driver ATM.

First thing to do is think, under what area of the car is the spot? Below the tranny, engine, rear axle, etc. After putting that into play, identify the fluid. Is it oil, power steering fluid, tranny fluid, rear diff fluid, etc.

The leak is coming from the engine compartment. I'll have more info when I go out there after School.

Don't start the engine until you check the oil.

Yes, you need to determine what the fluid is.

step 1 pull the oil dipstick and be sure that you are still on the hash marks. step 2 buy engine cleaner and get under the car to clean off all the built up crud. step 3 drive a while, step 4 check for the origins of the leak on the newly clean underside. remember oil flows down with gravity and back with wind while driving!

It seems to be brake fluid. Both my engine and transmission oil are fine.

Could be power steering fluid.

No smell. Nothing has really changed in the driving behavior.
Brake fluid was low when I checked this morning.

Brake fluid does not just leak out. Can we assume your brakes work fine and there's no brake warning light on?

This is correct brakes are fine ATM.

Also my right turn signal light likes to stay on when my headlamps are on. The front right orange light also only come ons when the headlamps are on but doesn't flash anymore.

Replace bulbs and then go from there. They're a dual element.

Find out exactly where that leak is coming from. Have you been running the AC in the car? It will drip condensation after it's been running for awhile.

Ill replace the bulb but would this also be the reason for the right turn signal staying lit? I haven't been using my ac recently but it's still there. Should I finally just take it to a trusted mech?

Update. Bulb replaced fixed that problem and the dash light.
It's also hasn't leaked today or yesterday .

The DRLs are a bitch. Worst case scenario splice in a new one and solder it, finishing with heat shrink. The maker didn't put any die electric grease into theses cars. Dorks. Sounds like you have a power steering leak
