i can tell the color is slightly off from the rest of the gray interior.

just the upper part that has the molded in cup holder and ash tray/lid.
the lower part is the normal looking gray.

is this common?
any way to get the color back or just look for a replacement?

I can see the difference in the pic, strange. Definately has a olive-green tinge to it. Was a previous owner a smoker? This may have caused the color change, possibly affecting the different materials differently. Have you tried cleaning it up?

It's probably sat in the sun a good amount.

My monte carlo door panels are the same way. The rest of my black interior parts are painted, so I can't talk for those.

thats what happens with sun and armorall.... i have the same sort of thing onthat area and my gauge bezel... i personally dont car cuz im going to hydrodip mine in carbon fiber anyway when i redo my dash
