Ok, i have searched for days on this subject and i cant really find what im looking for. I have a 2002 ws6 and i want to do a full motor, pcm and tranny swap from a 2500hd. I have found several threads on doing motor or trans but not both along with pcm. I figure this would be the best way to ditch the ls1 and 4l60e providing the wiring from the truck will work with my car. Im assuming i would need to get vats bypass module and a bmr crossmember. Im really hoping to find someone that has done this swap.

Why do you wanna use the truck pcm? Simpliest is to use the trans am computer. As far as the 4l80, all you need is the pcm of nc adapter harness or do a segment swap in the trans am pcm. I have a ls2 6.0 and 4l80e in my trans am so I know first hand this is a straightforward swap.
