Do you wish you had 2?
I wanted to see if anyone else was like me. I find that as I am driving around town I always stop and look at other TA's for sale. Occasionally I'll stop and look at z28's or even an ss. I guess I can't wait until I finish school because I am going to buy another TA since the General refuses to make another one.

I bought a beat up 98 Trans Am off Ebay for dirt cheap to compliment my 2002 NHRA TA (and so I wouldn't mod the 02) with the specific intention of turning it into a pure drag car.

i always wished i had an LS1..but never wanted to part with the firehawk....then i found the perfect one to compliment my 'hawk for an awesome price in my eyes, so i dont 'wish' i had 2..i DO!

I did...so I do. They are just different enough to drive to make it like I'm getting into a new car each time I drive the Hawk...and the 74 is a totally different animal all together (wallowing barge even with the T/A suspension option)
Now I just need a 3rd gen and a 1st gen and I can start collecting Grand Prix's and Bonnevilles

Got tired of the double cost of modding plus the dual car payments and insurance so I sold the '00. I miss it but it isn't life-altering.

I have 2....an 02 Trans Am, WS6, and a 78 Trans Am, non-WS6. Like someone already said, two different eras, different worlds, different animals. I love them both, for different reasons. Though I do wish the 78 wasn't as in good as shape as it's in, so I wouldn't worry about hurting the value buy turning it into an autocross racer.
