New 67 326 .,. help ?
Hey.. just joined this site.. recently bought a 1967 Firebird 326 that is basically all stock. The piston heads need to be cleaned and polished. Once this is done, how much will this help increase the engine's performance and any other tips on how to add some muscle would be greatly appreciated by anyone and all

nice car man,
honestly I would ditch the 326, they arent bad engines, but you can fit a 400 or a 455 in there and no one would be the wiser and make tons more power
Anyways, check out this site for more purist pontiac opinions

I have a nice built 455 for sale, I had it advertised, but the post dissappeared. It has never been started, and Ill sell it for less than what you can build your 326 for. Were estimating about 500hp, 600ftlb, built by Xtreme Hp. Its a little hairy, and is iffy on pump gas because of high compression iron heads, but some Edelbrocks will do you really well. If your interested, lemme know.
