Nope, WS9 made your car a Formula, that is, a bitchin' Pontiac Firebird with Three Hunnert and Fiftee cubic inches of iron block powa.
Another RPO on top of that made your car into a Trans Am, only possible with the WS9 RPO.
GM Math=
Pontiac Firebird + RPO WS9 = Firebird Formula
Pontiac Firebird + RPO WS9 + RPO Y82, or Y83, or Y84 (not sure which) = Firebird Formula Trans Am, usually seen as Firebird Trans Am

W66 Formula Merchandise Pkg and Y82 Trans Am Merchandise Pkg have to be present to identify what model the car is.
WS9 + W66 = Formula
WS9 + Y82 = Trans Am
Formula/Trans Am doesn't exist it's either one or the other.
Most people who associate the two together are confused because the Vin# doesn't distinguish between the two. RPO's are the only way to properly identify the Model.
