My friend told me I can use a G6 ECM in my G8 L76 Datsun build, just wondering if it is true. When I bought the G8 L76 motor it didn't come with an ECM but my friend had a ECM from a G6 that he gave me. Any truth to it?

will not work. A V6 ecm is not going to run a V8.

Spoke to Geoff at EPS and he said the ECM from the G6 will work just fine, the ecm is the same as the G8 ecm. I am sending him my ecm and tcm for a base tune so I can get it to run.
