Indeed, Holden does a better design job than Pontiac's team, but whatever :\ It indeed still looks nice.
Are those the production rims, or just the "Car Show and possibly an Option" Rim? lol

Did anyone else notice that in the pictures on the Engine specs placards the 3.6 says the HP and TQ ratings of 252 and 251 but the one for the 6.0l says 360 and 390 PRELIMINARY. Maybe there is hope it will have some more *****.

360hp is ***** powered.
Anyway I'm seriously wondering if the new Camaro's Z28 level package is going to sit at ~360hp like the Pontiac's 6.0.
That has twice the power and torque of most of Pontiac's 90's lineup.
Gosh ONLY 390 ft/lbs!!!

I think the 360 hp 390 lb/ft of tq is because its pcm is tuned to run on regular gas...
I'd imagine shortly after it hits the pcm will be cracked by tuners for running on high test and bigger hp numbers should be easy. (with just a tune)
Can't say how much more but I'd imagine 400hp should be pretty easy....
Maybe a set of headers and an air filter with a tune for 425 hp?
Should be a mod friendly car...and still be able to keep 100k mile warranty...
DOD is a little worrysome for cam swaps etc but I'm sure people will figure it out.
I really see this as a M5 competitor....(past 400hp generation) but brand new Pontiac..
They did a great job!
I want one.

I'm sure tweaked a little the G8 will walk an M5. I've heard the new ones run high 12's they don't get off the line. But the M5 is a very sharp car overall in terms of the features and fit and finish.
I might get a G8, anyone know how the rear seat legroom compares to say a 2006 TL? I had a TL and it had great rear leg room.

I doubt the G8 will compete with the M5 very well.
M5
Horsepower 500 @ 7750 RPM
Torque (lb-ft) 383 @ 6100 RPM
Anything performance that gets this fuel economy:
City (mpg) 12
Highway (mpg) 18
Is going to be tough to touch. You can mod/tune that G8 but the $82.5k car can be modded just as much.
