Need atleast a 3" lift in rear
Anyone know a place that sells springs that will work on the GTO that can accomplish this? And please spare me your opinions on what it'll look like just need info on getting springs. I already have a 2.5" lift and it's not really noticeable unless you're a GTO owner which is still iffy. Trying to get more sidewall for some DR's.
They can be stiff as a morning wood and make ride quality brutal. I drive 1 mile to work and will be racing going straight.

I'm measuring the top fender to where it used to set (which was on the tire, my rims have a +35 offset all the way around. Thanks Discount Tire) before the clamps that were put on the springs. So it's between 2"-2.5" Looking to ditch the clamps and go stiffer springs with drag bags.

Forget what it would look like.. But damn get some rims/tires that fit.. I have a 28" ET Drag that fits with Zero Drop springs and drag bags... My First GTO has 28s on his car to that fit..

Doesn't pedders offer thicker spring pads to go above and below the spring mounting points. Gforce should be offering thier coil over kit soon and from what I saw it may give you that option.

yes we do but NOT That Thick...The Problem is the Wheel offset is way Wrong on that GTO. Jacking that thing up is the wrong thing to do. His GTO will wear out the inside of the tires very fast that way.....Frank

I already ordered some new rims and should have them by next Wednesday. But my rears are 275 so I hope they don't rub. But I might have to use my fronts on the rears since they're 245 and just get new tires on the back. And I've had my fenders cut too in the rear.
I'm getting these at DT for 260 a piece.

18x8 +40 for front
18x9 +45 for rear

I have +5/16" Pedders drag springs and don't see why anyone needs taller springs than that option. Naturally, I have wheels that fit though (40 front and 45 rear offset). Rear tires are M/T 275-40-17 mounted on 9" wide wheels. I did have to grind the inner fender lip a little.

the offset is better on your new wheels so you may be OK. i have about a 60mm offset and that makes it really easy to put 285s on and can bottom out to the bump stops. offset is the key

Well I'm only worried about my tires on the back. Which are 275 and going on the 18x9 for the rear. I may just leave my clamps on till I get enough money to get some 245 street radials if they stick out bad. But when I get home I'm taking my reciprocating saw to them so I may just be SOL. If it looks like the 275 will work with alittle more height room then I might order some Lovells springs with some drag bags. God the wife is going to kill me.
