The bushings take the slop out of the suspension. I think I've replaced just about every bushing now. Front and rear radius rod bushings, front lower control arm bushings, rear inner and outer control arm bushings, swaybar bushings, swaybar endlink bushings, rear cradle bushings, Harrop rear diff cover.
The coilovers are adjustable with 30 different adjustments on the shocks, and the ride height can be adjusted as well. After the install, I had the coilovers set on 15 clicks - which was fun while taking the twisties, but way too harsh for just cruising. I can't imagine what 30 clicks would be like - I'd probably need to see the chiropractor afterwards. I've got it set on 10 clicks at the moment and that may still be a bit harsh for cruising.
It now has a much tighter suspension and the coilovers make it hug the road in the twisties. It feels like a high performance car now. It accelerates, turns, and brakes virtually flat. The trade off is an increase in road/tire noise, which I hope to address eventually with some sound deadening mods.

I got the Energy Suspension bushings online somewhere - I don't remember exactly but it was like $150 or so. The Pedders bushings (front and rear radius rod bushings) I got straight from Pedders.

If you used the rear setup keep a eye on the springs, mine colapsed and I have seen others do the same. I'm running a 1/2 lowered spring now with the adjustable shocks

I have no idea why Pedders used 7kg rear springs on the GTO. That's WAY undersprung.
