NO, the 2004 GTO is drive by cable, and the 2005-2006 is drive by wire. It does not matter if they are auto or standard for all 3 years.

thanks I didn't mean to type 04/05 I meant 05/06 just making sure the drive by wire throttle for the auto was the same for the manuel
