Fair price 05 gto blown motor
I have a customers GTO in the shop
2005 A-4 carbon black 120000 never wrecked stone stock.
What's a fair price based on the below.
I have a brand new 6.0 crate motor and a 6 speed stick that I have ratted back from a aborted project. I can handled all the body paint and repairs in house myself. I don't want to screw the guy but don't wanna get screwed myself
The bad
motors locked up
front bumper cover damaged replace
rear bumper cover damaged replace
lower valance damaged replace
both grill inserts missing
replace both front fenders due to parking lot scrapes etc not collision related
left rear quarter has a minor parking lot scrub 2" x 4" area
rear seats normal tears
door panels both sides bad
carpet's dirty
front seats normal damage
I'm sure the suspension is beat due to the roads around here
If I buy the car and put it back together it will be factory perfect when complete. It's not a buy the car and leave it as is so it will be a medium ground up project. Thoughts ideas or just move on down the highway and send it to the crusher.

Couple of grand. Front bumper will be a ton. The clips break on them so finding one that isn't messed up is somewhat hard to do. It is easier to buy a new one from GM. In all honesty you're looking at a ton of money man. You can source body parts from ebay or part outs you see on here.
The suspension options are limited. IMO Lovells is the best way to go if you want a good comfortable ride. If you want to beat the hell out of it there are some coil overs that are all made by the same person and just rebranded. Headers only go with Kooks or ARH. Everything else is poo. Exhaust you have a ton of options. Bassani is my personal favorite even though I have spintech.

I bought my 05 IBM 6spd with 93K on it for 7800.00 with a spun bearing.
It only had a few flaws.
05 A4 with 120K and needed that much exterior work, I would pick it up for 3500 or so.
Suspension will need to be addressed for sure like every other GTO.
