I'm keeping my heavily modded 04 Cosmos and getting a ZL1 or a C7, just can't let the GOAT go...

If yours is paid for just keep it, the dealer is just going to offer you way less than it's worth anyway, or maybe sell it and use the proceeds as a down payment.

Much more likely to get more if you sell it yourself.

i wanted to sell mine privately but between BSers and low ballers and needing a car it was just easier to trade mine in. i didnt get what i could have privately but i got enough to keep my payments more than liveable.

if you can get a zl1 for a decent price then negotiate a trade at the end. just know what its worth ahead of time.

I wouldn't trade my GTO for a Camaro.

Just went from an 01 Camaro SS to an 06 goat and I ******* love the car. A lot better for my needs daily driving. Don't see how someone can want to get rid of a goat for something else but if you can afford it then why not. Test drive one and go from there. Like others said it'd be easier to trade it in or sell it to carmax they'll give you the Kelley blue book value. Too many window shoppers out there

Default Keeper

Of course, by now that goat is paid off.
What you gotta do is keep a piggy-bank and drop at least $100 every month in it.
You gonna need that money to start replacing things and upgrading worn parts.
Heck, a replacement clutch job will set you back $2k if you are not a genuine gearhead with the proper tools.

But then again, $100/mo sure beats loan/lease payments, any day!
