Check engine light
I just had my 05 dyno tuned about 3 days ago. My check engine light just came on today. There was no "event" that i can recall that may have set it off. It just came on. The car is running just fine, no problems at all. When i scroll to the "trouble code" section of my computer readout, there are no codes listed. What could it be, has anyone else had this problem? For you experts out there, what do you think could have caused it?

Not sure if this applies to the GTO, but I know some cars' Check Engine light will come on if the gas cap is loose. It happened to me once. Don't mean to insult your intelligence if you already knew that, but I figured I'd mention it.

Yeah, I think emissions and safety regulations are why the light comes on if it's loose...

that's probably it,
you don't get anything in the trouble codes
but when scanned
it comes up with a evap code
