Default Tire rubbing issues.

Ok. so we have had my 04 GTO for a year now and it first started with the front tire rubbing on the strut, and today the tread ripped completely off my rear passenger tire on the highway probably going to need a new bumper. I dont know for sure that rubbing is what caused it, but i have heard that the cars rub on the rears as well, is there anyway to correct these rubbing problems? if so, what? i am still learning about this car so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Tire wear in the rear is caused by bad camber settings. Really, no adjustments are in the rear for camber unless you install caber adjusting control arm bushings.

Your problem is being caused by bad rear springs.

Unless you rotated the fronts to the rears. But I am sure worn rear springs wasn't helping the issue at all.

You need new springs. 250 bucks, a 21mm socket, jack and 30 minutes of your time will fix the problem.

I would try as others have stated about replacing the rear springs along with a camber kit. From what I have seen on my car and many others is the rear tires running mostly on the inner edge.

Pedders. There are e few vendors on here that sell Pedders. I know Vengence in Cumming, GA sells Pedders stuff for the GTO. From what I have read this is the best fix for the GTO suspension problems.
