converters/hals and road racing

converters/hals and road racing i have a vig3200 (flashes around 3600-3800).
i want to take the trip to road america next year, only im not sure how road racing with a converter is- other than not wacking it right out of a turn <img src="gr_stretch.gif" border="0"> .
also, i have hals at all 4 corners. anyone ever do some racing with these? I know they arent the best for this type of racing, but they arent bad either. what do you guys set them at?
