Default Patriot Xtreme Gold Springs Have Arrived !!

We just received our new Patriot Gold Xtreme Springs. Guys these look great and turned out just as we designed them. We have tested several of these and the pressures are right on the money... 155 @ 1.800" and 410 @ 1.140".

As you can see from the pics, the outer spring is Patriot Gold while the inner spring is a polished silver. These springs have been specially designed for the needs of the LS community. They were designed and manufactured from chrome silicon vanadium material with proprietary thermal process. For our customers who wish to upgrade from our Patriot Gold springs, all that will be needed are the springs. Your current hardware will interchange. We do have several thousand in stock, but please get your orders in quickly. These are selling at a rapid pace (many to other head porters).

The Patriot Gold Xtreme series is of the same high quality of our Original Patriot and with added performance for more aggressive cams, boosted applications, etc.

Hrmm...what to do, what to do. I want to purchase a set of bare L92 heads, this spring kit, and a set of rockers (8 L92 intake/9 LS1 exhaust). Then see what companies offer what. Then if I like what's out there, then I could sell the parts. If not, then I have parts to work with. What do you guys think?

Are the inner springs on all dual-spring set-ups not even with the outer springs?

What I mean to say, is the inner spring supposed to shorter and not centered in the outer spring?

When they are uninstalled, the inner spring will not be even with the outer spring.

jdo6696- Glad you like the springs. Thank you for the order.

Gunnar,

Not sure if this has been asked but how much longer till you offer different L92 packages? Also can you give us some basic info i.e. porting, millin, springs used etc.

Thanks ahead of time

Hmmm I asked that same question a couple of months ago.
The response back then was the Predators are taking priority in the R&D section of Patriot and once they are/were done then Patriot would look at an L92 head design.

Now back to the new springs...

Will the new .660 extreme's become the standard on your 5.3L and/or LS6 assembled head packages (say in 07).
Or will you keep the old .650" Golds in the packages and have the .660" extreme's as an option for the guys that are looking to run max lift cams?

The Orginal Golds will come standard and the Xtremes will be available as an uprade for $25.00. We have been working on the L92. We are hoping to have some programs ready after the first of the year. We have many new projects going on...Predator heads, L92's, our new SBC Freedom series, 3 Valve Ford, SBF, BBC, etc.
