Fs: 1996 z28 $2700 or $2200 (bring your own wheels) - SOLD I bought this car about 2 months ago, but my plan has changed. Going to buy a Z06 and dd the WS6 so no reason to have this car.
Its a 1996 Z28, a4, 223k miles.
The good:
17x9.5/17x11 polished ZR1s
New optispark in 2009
LS1 style ignition with LTCC
CSR Electric water pump
Spohn tubular shock tower brace
Spohn adjustable PHB
Sphon Lower Control Arms
Bilsten shocks
Eibach Prokit
Body is very clean for the year. Has minor scratches here and there. But most would be suprised.
Car did not have a CD player when I bought it, but I just took the Alpine out of the TA, so I'll give that to the new owner.
The bad:
AC needs work. I put freon in it, and it held it for a couple weeks, but now is blowing warm. Not sure where the leak is.
The car overall runs great, the car starts right up. but SOMETIMES when you are at idle it sputters a bit. We think its a burnt spark plug wire, but I have no time/motivation to try to find the issue. When you are driving the car at normal speed it runs great but have noticed it sputter LIGHTLY 2-3 times.
Interior needs work, I bought the car sight unseen and was told it really just needed a good cleaning. But I personally think some of it needs to be replaced, but maybe I'm just picky.
Has the normal oil leak, maybe a trans leak? Not sure.
Roof does have some oxidation.
