Is the JL sub 2 ohm or 4 ohm? How much picked up in Alvin, Tx?

 

It's actually an 8ohm, but I've read that if you wire it up in parallel, that it's readable as 4ohm. $125 for local sales.

 

The hid kits, are they really plug-n-play? Or is a relay needed?

 

They're plug-n-play, but if there's need for a relay, both kits come with plug-n-play relay harnesss. I didn't have to use the plug-n-play relay harnesses, I just plugged them in as is. I'm not sure when the relays would be needed.

 

According to JL audios web site, they only make a 2 ohm and a 4ohm. Can you verify that its an 8? Thanks again

 

Hrmm, you're right, JL Audio's website doesn't list an 8ohm, but both the sub and the box show 8ohm. That's odd.

 

I think the 8ohm is no longer in production. But JL did make a 10W3v3-8.
