SOLD!!!

Just removed from my car, view the vid below to see the car was running strong with them!! They were purchased through TEA (build # 2119 stamped on the heads) and have mo more than 10k miles on them. They have 62cc chambers and .660" lift double springs. This is the first time they've been removed from the motor since they were installed new and the car has never overheated. They were just gone through at a local machine shop and they verified the deck, springs, valves, seats, seals, retainers and locks are all in outstanding condition!! However, it was brought to my attention that directly between the valves, 6 of the chambers have a hairline crack and 2 have a tiny chip, All pictured, and All in the same COMMON location to these heads!!

I have spoken to Greg @ Trickflow, Mike @ AES (ls1tech sponsor), Mike Schmidt @ Total Engine Airflow (TEA) and the owner of the machine shop i took them to ALL say this is a very common occurrence with these heads and that it is STRICTLY a cosmetic issue! It wont drop seats, it's not gonna leak fluids, nothing! My heart sank when i first heard the words hairline crack so i immediately went and picked them up and talked to the machinist, and then started making calls to the biggest names i knew in heads and the LS industry. I was told i and any potential buyer can rest assured they have nothing to worry about with these.

Please feel free to call whomever you're comfortable with talking to and get their input as well. I have perfect feedback and am completely upfront with everything and plan to keep doing business that way.

Sold fully assembled as pictured for $1850 to your door....$1750 picked up....or will accept cert bank check and ship immediately upon clearing for $1800. SOLD!!!

Definitely a straight shooter! If he says the heads have been checked and were verified good then I would not have any fears. Good luck with your sale Dave

Thanks man, you're a hell of a stand up seller yourself!

If i could afford a new shortblock to bring down my CR i would but i cant, so this is the only reason these are being sold.

My TFS 225s did the exact same thing.

I got the same comment about them being perfectly fine from Mike at TEA and a local head shop. People seem to be scared of the damage, but there is no issue.

My TFS 225's have the same issue. My car traps 132 with no issues on my 408. Great price! Someone is getting a smoking deal.
