Hello Everyone,

I have a few things for sale:

Pair of Hooker Super Comp Headers with EGR/AIR fittings. They are ceramic coated, with a few scratches and some surface rust. One had a hole in the collector that a buddy of mine fixed with his welder. Overall, they are in decent shape. I just decided to go stainless instead.
$200+shippingSOLD

Circle D 278 mm 3200 stall. I bought this new and only ran it for 8 months and about 15K miles (a lot of highway) before pulling it and going to a manual. Great budget converter that drives like stock til you get on it. http://www.circledspecialties.com/p-...converter.aspx
$300+shippingSOLD

Torsen differential. Brand new, never used. I bought this as a back up, but now that I am manual I won't waste any money on the 10bolt. This is a 3 series carrier.
$250+shipping

Stock Master Cylinder. Practically brand new. Came with my t56 swap, but I went with a Tick instead. Previous owner had just replaced his old master with this one before the swap. Does not come with reservoir.
$50+shippingSOLD

Stock flexplate--Stronger '98 design. Has 105K on it, but was fine when I pulled it to put an SFI in with my Circle D stall.
SOLD

Stock stall--will need to be flushed as the fluid in it is dirty. One bolt hole was helicoiled by previous owner, so it is a different thread size. Has about 105K on it.
Make me an offer.

Please let me know if you have any questions about any of these items. I will give you as much information as I can. Thanks!

How was the converter from a roll at freeway speeds? How loose/tight around town?

At freeway speeds, it felt like stock because of the torque converter locking up. I couldn't tell it was there on the highway if I mashed it and took it out of lockup because the stall speed is only 3200.

Around town, it was very tight. It drives a lot like stock, except when you punch it from a low roll or stop--then you can tell it's stalled. It also took care of that dead spot downshift everyone talks about around 40 mph. I loved the converter--it's DD friendly and loose enough for a mild cam.

Everyone, please be aware when making offers on the converter that it weighs 47 lbs, and is not shipping anywhere in the country for less than $30. I am willing to work with you, but please don't be ridiculous--this is a gently used converter with low miles.

Bump!

I am willing to work with people, but ask that you please be reasonable. I have researched how much these converters go for used and feel my asking price is fair. I will not let it go for $200+shipping.

And yes, it is a stock core GM converter, but no, it is not raised up "a bit." Feel free to call up Chris at Circle D and talk to him about what they do with this converter. Stock stall speed is around 1800 rpm. 3200 rpm is quite an increase, and does a great deal for waking up the car.
