I have several parts I want to get rid of to fund a new engine build. Most of these are parts are things I bought and never used, some brand new and some in very nice used condition. Prices are pretty close to what I need for the parts. Buyer is responsible for shipping costs and the 3% Paypal fee if you choose to pay with that method. Here's what I've got!

1) GTP Racing Stage 2 ported 243 heads, 215-220 cc ports, 62 cc chambers, 2.02" int./ 1.57" exh., Ferrea SS valves. Freshened up by Craig Gallant himself a few years back and never bolted on. Heads flow very similar #s to TEA stage 2 243s. The heads were flowed on a 4.000" bore fixture and the exhaust was flowed without a pipe, #s would pick up quite a bit if using a 1 7/8" pipe like most use. I have a flow sheet from when Craig freshened them up.

Why does the intake flow fall off after .600" lift? How firm is your price on the heads?

 

I think you will find that most of the ported stock casting heads will reach a stall point where the air goes turbulent and the flow basically stalls or starts to fall off. I'm pretty sure that is a common thing. If I remember correctly when he flowed these they started to go turbulent at around .620" lift.

To give you a comparison on these heads, I just had them and a pair of lightly worked on LS3 heads I pulled off of my 6.2L engine out of my 98 SS flowed this past weekend on the same flow bench within minutes of each other. The LS3 heads only out flowed these 243s by 10-12 cfm throughout the full range on the intake side, and these 243s actually out flowed the LS3s on the exhaust side by about the same 10-12 cfm.

So, in actuality these 243s would probably make better usuable power since they flow the same amount of air through a much smaller port and smaller valve.

I am pretty firm on the price ( I have right at $1500.00 real dollars in these heads), the heads are totally fresh with brand new Patriot Gold dual valve springs & Titanium retainers as well. Have new Viton seals and a fresh surface job as well. These are ready to bolt on and go. I will post some pics maybe tomorrow evening. I will have to unwrap them to get pics.

I have had five or six requests to split the QA1s up in pairs of fronts and rears. If I get firm commitments on getting them sold I would be willing to do that.

REALIZE that shipping is expensive now days! I just sipped a 25 lb box from Texas to California and it was $37.00. I guarantee these shocks & coilovers will be more than that.

Just be prepared to pay for the full shipping costs and Paypal fees if applicable.

I will go down the list of those who requested to buy pairs. I will do this later this evening when I get in from workaround 6pm.
