picked up this awesome 2005 retired work truck with 200 k on it
very clean and well maintained
strapped it down, and this thing makes 108hp!
stopped by collis truck parts, local salvage yard for this 06 6.0 and loaded it up, with some new front seats, passenger door handle and disk brake pieces for a ford explorer rear that i have that is bare
donor van
only high speed fan worked with the Hvac system so i replaced the wiring and resistor pack, viola! all the van speeds are back
here is the 80e and explorer rear i have for this guy already.
video at the dyno
plan is to do a complete swap, engine, trans, rear, and retain AC, should be lots of fun, going to install a 7875 on3 turbo right away also, of course.

OMG OMG OMG, this is going to be awesome! From someone who has a LS powered S10, I can really appreciate this. I will be particularly curious to see the "sloppy" side of this, knowing how difficult some of these can be. The nice part is, GM started making LS (5.3 only I believe) powered Colorados the last 2 or 3 years of that body style, so you could actually buy parts if you had to.

they did actually, only in extended cab and only 09+

Calvert makes them for colorados
I'm sure another company makes something similar, or you could make them yourself
Gonna have a hard time making it stick without something helping back there...lol
I'm using a gforce 2 boost controller
It does everything a truboost does, has a nicer user interface, has more presets, and is a little cheaper. Might check it out if you're buying a new controller and don't want something as fancy as a leash

on my friends 2010 silverado we just clamped the front helper spring and foot braked a 1.61 60ft and went high 10s with 600whp 4.8 4700lb truck

I would highly suggest Caltracs or some sort of bar. My old 5 cylinder Colorado would wheelhop BAD even with just a cold air intake. Clamping the springs works well on full size trucks but I don't think they work as well on the 355 twins (Colorado/Cayon)
