2001 SOM Formula 4 sale
Once again i have another reason to try and sell the car...My son Ethan was born 16 days ago, and my wife quit her job....i just cant afford to keep the car reasonably without eating top ramen every night, so i gotta sell her.
The Motor setup listed in my mod list only has about 3k miles on it. everything is brand new just about. Rear end, clutch, heads, cam etc...
Nitrous was just installed last thursday and tuned friday at XXX in Pensacola.
But the nitrous will not be sold with the car.
The car is very friendly to daily drive....and is ready to be violent at the track...i took it out one time to the local 1/8 mile on this setup....7.9 @ 93.5 mph short shifting the car at 6200-6400 rpm.
Original Factory Equipment:
LS1 346-cid - 6 speed (M6) transmission - Optional Hurst shifter - 3:42 Gears
Factory paint - Sunset Orange Metallic... 1800 Formula's made in '01 ....only 16 were made this color with a M6 for 2001! T-Tops, Black Cloth interior, cruise control, “Monsoon” premium sound system with CD player,& steering wheel controls
-Stock Dyno numbers: 321.3-RWHP / 343.7-RWTQ with 91 Octane -Heads,Cam, Long tube headers etc..Dyno Numbers: high side numbers 443hp/384tq (on motor ), low side numbers 418 RWHP / 365 RWTQ Motor tuned to be safe for Nitrous...(timing pulled) Pulls made in mid 90 degree heat with 30+ % humidity. Heads/cam + 100 shot... 508hp-485tq
Aftermarket Modifications (Engine / Exhaust): -Ported Stock (Z06) Ls6 intake manifold, matched to runner width on heads
-Ported Stock throttle body..went from 78mm to 80 mm..knife edged throttle blade..etc. -Thunder Racing Ported MAF ends -Motor Sport Technologies Clear Lid with custom "LS1" Z06 style emblem -Patriot Performance CNC Ported "243 cast" LS6 (Z06) heads, flows 300 intake cfm @ .600lift , and 225 exhaust cfm @ .600 lift...with 2.00/1.55 sodium filled valves, Patriot Gold dual valve springs .650 lift,ti retainers,hardened pushrods...etc

I have pretty much what you have...lol...2002 Z28. most bolts ons. 42K miles. all options but leather and TCS. NBM. TTops...tons of bolts ons. QTP S/S Lts, Corsa Premium...and more and more and more.....ya know how it goes....are you still located in crest view? how far is that from Daytona Beach?

Chris,i might be blind,but i didn't see what your asking price is.i sold my hawk back in march and have had an itch to get a formula.i probably wouldn't want to ship it back to sac,but if the price is right who know.

damn chris sorry to hear you have to sell her!!! had a great time this weekend on the cruise. i will vouch for this vehicle - it is a beast and very clean, anyone who buys this car is getting a top notch piece of equipment with the best parts, good luck chris and congrats on the baby, being a daddy is so cool.

HartAttack..... I have sent you 2 emails, replied on here and I'm still unable to get a reply from you with a phone # to contact you. In my last email I asked for your phone # to contact you with questions about the car with out offering you a trade. I mentioned i'm a serious buyer not a tire kicker despite being 1075miles away. I'm either willing to drive or fly down pending what kind of deal we can work out. I like the car thus far but need alot of questions answered before I can justify spending that kind of money on the car, and or driving/flying down there.
