About 2 years ago I bought these 3" diameter Summit cutouts at the Summit Racing showroom in Tallmadge, OH. I was going to use them on my SS but decided to go a different route, so they've been sitting in my closet ever since. Just opened one of them today to take pics - the other has never been opened.

These things are SWEET! Your exhaust could be extremely loud one minute and then quiet as a churchmouse the next. They're also a cheap way to pick up some horsepower when you need it! Summit no longer offers this part number (SUM-G4288) but their closest alternative is their current 3" cutout, seen here.
