Default Who makes the BEST electric exhaust cutout?

I'm thinking about buying a single 3" e-cutout. I was looking at QTP, but I also saw a brand called RaceReady and their cutouts look nice as well. I guess just let me know from your personal experiences! Thanks.

DMH and QTP are about the only brands you'll see used on this forum. While both manufacturers are reputable and quality workmanship, there has been some issues in the past with QTP's reliability. I would stick to DMH. But i think either company will satisfy your needs for a good cutout.

The only choice is QTP. Never skipped a beat in 4 years. Get there QTEC and there stainless steel cutout. No one else make one and you dont want to get the rusty flowtech cutout. You can check them out over there on the right----->

Nice to see them support our community unlike the other brand that was recommend.

Not to But I have the stainless works LTs and catted y-pipe through the slp dual/dual. Stainless works says the y-pipe is 2.5"'s, but I think I still need a 3" cutout?

Thumbs up Electric cutouts -go with DMH

I have a single 3" DMH on my I-pipe. Whatever kind you get, I recommend cleaning it periodically and lubricate it (WD-40 or similar.) My DMH stopped working after about 10 months, but I sent it back to them and he immediately sent me out a new one. The 4 yr warranty is nice to have......exhaust cutouts are in a tough place with all the heat right there, so they don't last forever.

My McCord has been fine for long enough, that you can't find my
installation post using the Search engine anymore.

Good thread.....Here's my $.02. I have a QTP electric cutout and loved it for about 8 months....then the motor went out. I called QTP and found out that they only warranty their product for 90 days. I'm sending mine back to QTP with my check for $35 for them to repair it. The next time it goes, I'm definitely going to purchase a DMH cutout (accompanied by it's 4 year warranty). I think it's going to be tough to get one to consistently last over a couple years with constant use, hence I'd recommend going with the company with the best warranty policy.
