Default 2001 Trans Am - fully built Twin Turbo LS1

Yes, I am putting my baby up for sale .... its a 2001 Pontiac Trans Am. This car is absolutely awesome. It has impressed/awe'd EVERY single person that has ever been in it I spent over a year and a half building/completing the twin turbo kit while still leaving this car 100% street legal. I'm asking 20,500 OBO, which means I'm not getting back even close to half of what I have put into it - I thought I'd never sell, but I have other aspirations in life now.

The car itself has just over 74,000 miles on it - but the engine, turbo kit, clutch, rear end, etc all have less than 1,200 miles on them. The black leather interior is in incredible condition and the black exterior is amazing as well.

The car is meticulously maintained. Only the very top end oils and lubricants have been used in this car! When not in use, it sits in my garage under a cover, and gets waxed quite often to keep its shine.

The car made 698hp and 706tq to the rear wheels on 93 octane PUMP GAS. All that while on an extremely conservative 13.5psi, 11.0:1 A/F ratio, 12* of WOT timing, spraying 50/50 meth/water. The engine is a fully forged LS1 motor (348ci) that was built to handle far more horsepower than the car is currently pumping out. I had it tuned soo conservative because I didn't want to take the chance of a misfortunate bad tank of gas or something!

Its hard to describe in words just how awesome this car is - you have to see/feel it to believe it. It looks absolutely amazing, and runs TOP NOTCH! Traction? guys with 200rwhp less complain about not being able to get traction, but this car puts all 700rwhp to the ground - its quite a feeling. I have no traction issues at all, as long as the temperature is above 60* outside - not even in first gear.

Below is a list of the mods done to the car. There may be some missing, but I think this pretty well details just how well built this car was and how no expense was spared to make this a reliable, and 100% streetable monster!! If you want to rule the streets, this is your car! If you have ANY questions whatsoever, please feel free to ask. I have lots of pictures and also have added a couple videos. Serious inquiries will include a response with my phone number to discuss anything you may want to know.

The car at idle - sounds extremely healthy and the cam gives a nice lope!

A few small revs - the turbos make themselves well known, especially driving down the road

Asking 22,900 OBO. Trades will be considered, but trade + cash must be of equivalent value to what I'm willing to accept. Thanks for the props!

No, i do not have any track times. The nasty weather lasted way too long this spring in PA, and by the time the weather was nice, it was time for me to start studying 3 hours a night after work, in attempt to pass my professional exams.... That finished up in late May, and Test&Tunes are 1.5 hours from me on Wed. nights. It kills me, but i just never seem to find the time to get out there.

Thank you for the warning about the fquick page! I will try to fix it.

edit: url fixed in original post

A few things i forgot to mention:
CR = 9.0:1
The fuel system as it sits is good for about 850rwhp. When the car was on the dyno, the tuner and I were interested in what the car would put down with 16psi and we ran out of injector around 4000rpms with the car in the 820rwtq range. He said the fuel pumps/rails/lines were fine, but the injectors were maxed. Larger injectors and it'll obviously support quite a bit more power.

Sure thing. I will get them up a.s.a.p. I just got back in town about 10 mins ago, so I have to get things unpacked, etc and I will throw everything up. I'm not sure why the links to the vids don't work, b/c other sites seem to be having success with them. I'll look into it!!

Thanks alot!

Talking Ta

I bet it gets great mileage with that 3.08 gear. But seriously, one bad *** TA. If you still have it after I sell my TA I would be interested.

haha, actually yeah, it gets 30-32mpg on highway trips... but that's obviously going to be easily negated by a few WOT runs
