If only you could pull 60's like other guys in the high 9's, you'd be going 9.5s I bet.

fastest 6speed Ls1 that i know of is 9.88@144

LPE has a customer that went 9.45 @151+ in a Z06 with 417 TT and 6 speed and 3.15 gears...about 800 rwhp on pump gas. This was on a shitty track (Muncie, IN)

the lpe car is a c5r motor not an ls1..

sw has fastest ls1 6 speed vette i know of at 9.7 at like 145.. even though he is a stroker AND power adder thats still my current goal

i consider 'fast' as mph and 'quick' as E.T. futral is def still the quickest 6 speed f body i know of.

[QUOTE=MIGHTYMOUSE]the lpe car is a c5r motor not an ls1..
Yeah, that C5-R blosk adds a ton of power
It would have gone just as fast if it was a resleeved LS1 block...it had LS6 heads and intake on it. With the upgrades they are doing to it, I understand it may make it to the 8's....6-speed and all.

2nd fastest ls1 for sure, 3rd fastest f body, if you include the lowly lt1's

that is an awesome mph! gotta love them turbos! regardless if you can hook it better it will go much quicker.

so the LPE vette went 9.45, and with a C5R block, well i guess that is my new goal...j/k! that is not even a production block, oh well. i will know in a couple of weeks just how fast i can get my car down the track....and at a top notch facility!

sdb you are right, i have spoken with the owner outside of tech.com.. said he is fooling with a new porsche at the moment but will take the vette out again this fall if he get's a chance

do you think my arp studs or my lunati rods add a ton of power? noooo... they let you run more boost (which makes more horsepower) without breaking

what if... i would like to use that myself too but here we work with what happens in 3-D. what if I had a c5r block?

Looks like we are shooting for the same goal . Ill be trying for the top of the list soon. It should be intresting when mine is finished. But mine will a little bit heavier w/ the AC and all. Hopefully ill have a chance this fall to test her out. Congrats on the third fastest 6 speed...and moving up .
