Here is a 440 hp build with vortec heads and here is the article.

They used a flat tappet cam because it was a 2 piece rear main seal block but here is the cam they used in a roller set-up from comp.

That should make the performance you need to obtain your goals.

Step Nose Roller
Our custom cam runs in a lot of oval track GM604 crates where tracks do not pull engines down. It is 235*@.050 & .510" lift 110LS ( Int. C/L installation varies on where you want the torque ), Outlaw valve springs 135# seat, and Alien custom built hydraulic roller lifters ( our house stuff ). Our cam lobes are way different than any bodu elses by being big at .100", /200" and .300" where the intake flow really need help off the seat...and we cam doctor them after grinding to make sure they are right on every time. If you want a little more out of the engine you just run 1.6 or 1.65 rockers.
There is not another Hydraulic roller lifter on the market that has been developed on the SPINTRON for hi-rpm use. We turn our oval track stuff all day long at 7500rpm and like I said it lasts a season or more with proper oil changes and valve lash checking.
Our valvetrain package hits so hard it sounds like the engine has 16:1compression.
With 10:1 CR Fastburn heads this makes 475 RWHP and turns 7500 for at least a full season of racing and sometimes two seasons. Hit me thru e-mail for additional info.
I have been running my own chassis dyno 12 hours a day for 25 years and have tested just about everything known to man. You might want to reconsider the intake as that dual plane does not like running much over 6000RPM.
I am getting a couple pieces ready to run at Commerce, maybe I'll see you there.
