Default BBC 505/Nitrous SS Nova - Suspension etc Build

Hey guys, figured I would make a build thread. Ive owned this car for 16 years, paid $50 for it, rescued it from a creek bottom. Previous owner gutted the entire car to build a 34` coupe out of the parts. Dumbass.

Current looks^, the car spent the last few years as a 362CI small block chevy, t56 and nittos. Ran a best of 12.7@108 in this way. Very mild motor, but the car hooked well and beat a lot of cars on the street it "Shouldn't have" I spent about every dime I made on my gto and this car sat patiently in the garage waiting for me to come to me senses haha. Well I sold the gto and now its time the car got some Love!

The new mod List:
505 CI BBC
289 casting 454 block +.100 bore
Scat 4340 crank and super comp rods
Wiesco 10.5:1 forged pistons
Dart pro 1 heads
Victor Jr Air gap intake
1000CFM King Demon carb
Crower custom grind cam 260/270 .650/.658 on a 107 W LSX Firing order
Lemons Ceramic coated headers
Head studs, main studs etc
Th400 w/5,500 stall - Derale Th400 deep pan
Ford 9" rear with 4:10 gears and Currie axles
4 wheel disk brakes (Previously 4 wheel manual drums)
Tubs in the rear with 315-60-15`s
Tubular Front a arms
Calvert racing 90/10 front shocks and Calvert adjustable rear shocks
Calvert split leaf mono springs
Caltracs
Spring relocation and spring sliders
4 core aluminum radiator
aluminum waterpump
MSD 6al2 Programmable ignition box
Zex peramiter plate kit with stand alone kit and NANO
X pipe and borla xr1`s
SOme other stuff im forgetting for sure, refinished the ss grill and bought a new rear tail panel, etc

Looking to have the car finished by May!

I love Nova's I have a 70 sitting in the garage with a pile of parts I need to put on. I have caltrac split mono's and tubular upper and lower controls arms just sitting in boxes waiting for me to put them on.

looks like it's going to be an awesome build. Please tell me you are leaving the outside looking the way it is even with all that going on underneath it. That would be awesome.

normally i would agree with this but not on this build. i would do all the bodywork and paint the "Old Man River" nova. just because of where it came from and he has the pics to back it up

Currently my prioritys are racing lol, so yes at a minimum this year it will stay like this. But I do plan to finish restoring the car. My plans are matte white, with the black SS accents.
