What cam specs do You recommend I'm about to finish building the engine for My Wife's 87 Monte SS, car has a 3.42 posi and 2004r and will be street driven mostly. I'm looking for cam suggestions, completely rebuilt stock bore 350, 292 turbo fire heads, 2.02 1.60 valves. Compression will be 10 to 1 riding on stock 15" wheels. Haven't selected a torque converter and won't until the cam is selected has to have good vacuum for the brakes, good usable street midrange torque and horsepower, and a lope. My thoughts are around 228 duration, on a 108 or so and around 480 lift. It's not easy finding something similar in a kit with lifters for around $175 bucks which is where i wanna be. Suggestions please

Thanks 6D9, I definitely like the specs of the Isky cam, I would like to have a broad powerband so it's definitely on my short list to consider. I've looked at Lunati Voodoo line as well and seen something I like there. Wife hasn't driven a stalled vehicle much and I want her to enjoy it too. The Monte was her surprise birthday gift two years ago and she hasn't driven it. Car got put on the backburner, gotta great deal on an engine and Malibu Wagon while it sat, her birthday is the 27th next month and I'd like to be surprising her again.
