Someone is selling a new in box WSQ on Ebay right now for $695.

Was wondering if it was from here or not

Do you guys suggest using hood pins with your WSQ hoods?

Or is it not necessary

so I bought the hood I was mentioning off ebay earlier and it is indeed a genuine VFN WSQ product.

I am very impressed with the quality of the hood have had carbon fiber and fiberglass hoods from a number of different manufacturers in the past.

I was also very impressed with the paperwork and instruction for proper and correct installation of the hood onto the car.

I do but if you get up to speed and don't have the center secured it will lift. I have both side latches on the bump stops and the stock latch in place. It doesn't move.

That WSQ hood is such a beautiful piece. how much higher does it sit over a factory trans am hood? Would it clear a high rise manifold?

I love it too.
Not sure if it will clear - when in doubt, I like to have guys send me a few dimensions - from back of the hood to center - and the height needed there - so we can compare. (vfnfiberglass@gmail.com)

The height on the Q is 3".

Sorry if this is off topic, but what is the height of your ws6 and ws9 hoods compared to stock? Not the 4" ram air hood but your normal ram air hoods. Are they taller as well or stock height?

Not off topic at all.

We kept the regular WS6 factory height - which is about 2".
The 9 we raised an inch - putting it at 3".

You do not have a list price for the 4.5" Sunoco Wide style for the 04-06 GTO pin on or bolt on. Was wondering what the price was for that one if you don't mind. Going back and fourth between a bolt on and pin on.
