How much of a weight difference is there between the 454 an the 427. also about how much spray will they handle safely. 2. what heads would u recomend for each, all out street/strip killer. Thanks, Phil. Can u do a 440 for the same deal as the 427?

The LSx block weighs about 80-90lbs more than the LS7 block. The 427 LSX can be built to handle anything you want to throw at it. LS7 427's still are held back slightly by the block itself, and at the big power levels you'd benefit from the LSX! Due to the pin placement and ring stack constraints on the 454, we do not recommend big power adders on it. I'd limit it to MAYBE 150hp of nitrous. We do not have any 440's ready to ship and on this special currently.

You just need the $300 conversion kit to run the 402 in an LS1 4th Gen F-body.

What's included in the conversion kit?

I may have some of the parts. A friend of mine blew his 402, and still havs the front cover and valley cover. Not sure what else he has or what I need.

Also, what is shipping to 06374 Plainfield CT
If it's cheaper, I could also get it delivered @ work for a businedd drop off. 06360 Norwich CT.

Could you sell the ls7 for $5k? How much (reasonably) will it cost to have the LS7 427 Aluminium completely built with cam, heads, accessories etc everything? What your BEST-EST price?

We do offer an optional conversion package that will include the LS2 timing cover with camshaft position sensor, LS2 valley cover, LS2 lifter trays, LS2-specific timing set, and plug-n-play harness extensions for the camshaft position and knock sensor harnesses. This will be required if you are installing the engine into an LS1 vehicle

PM Sent on the shipping.

I'll see what we can do on heads guys. I know they are currently $75 off retail though!

sspower23: I don't think we can go that low on the 427. Shoot me a PM on what you are looking to put on the long-block as far as head options, gaskets, ARP or GM hardware, etc. and I will see what a full long-block would run you.

Thanks!
