Thanks CoSpeed, but I'm wanting to stay away from mcleod, too many bad reviews over on corvette forum.....I didn't know textrailia was out, they were pretty good all around from what I've read. ......I'm leaning towards a Monster 11 ceramic, I just don't want it to be too harsh on the street....can I buy just a Monster PP and disk, I already have a Spec steel flywheel

More bad reviews than who? Every clutch is subject to its own faults but if you have any issues mcleod will deal with them. You dont have to buy an extra wnty for that. And every decent build on cf uses them. If there is any negative, normally it is noise, but most of that is attributed to using the original hydraulics instead of new. We dont just sell the parts I install them too. I have personally never had an issue with mcleod install, use, or abuse, and ive out them in all the gm platforms. Over 40 so far. I had friends INSIST on using a monster and regretted it...esp when they were blamed for messing it up after having to remove the trans 3 times just to get measurements/shims etc and send the entire kit back. In the end they went with a stock replacement and were more satisfied with it.

Its not mud. Its information to help the community.
The mantic is a very nice setup if you want to stay away from the mcleod but have a complete new setup. Less $$ than the monster and better pressure plate.
We can get just clutch and pp also if you want to reuse your old fw but i wouldnt recommend surfacing a fw twice. If its been done once then itll likely not be good to do it again.

Being a salesperson, installer, builder and tuner gets you in touch with alot more people and you get to work with nearly every part out there. My recommendations to every combo are on on what i would put on my own vehicle. If i wont run it, why should i expect someone else to just becaue they are having a sale vs buying better quality.

I absolutely loved my Monster Stage 2 when I had it. Was just a longtube, intake, full exhaust car with an MGW and Tick Master.
Ironically enough, I bought it from Co Speed a couple of years back. Broke it in for 1000 miles (2x what was recommended by manufacturer), and when I dropped the trans and motor, removed the clutch assembly, it looked BRAND NEW after about 1500 miles of use. Was VERY happy with the combo and will also be looking at the LT-1 once i get my transmission from RPM
