Default Introducing The Quick Cam & HV Oil Pump

We are proud to introduce our two piece timing cover "The Quick Cam Cover"

It is a two piece timing cover that allows you to access your cam with out pulling the crank pulley. Makes life even easier on the C5 so you dont have to drop the rack and pinion to pull the crank pulley.

A heavy duty piece that is made out of aircraft aluminum. Comes with OEM crank seal and aluminum gasket maker for a proper seal. The GM sealant they use for transfer cases.

Since we designed this cover from scratch we where able to create high volume oil pump. You could not accomplish this with the factory cover due to its size. We enlarged the lower half of the cover to accommodate a larger oil pump.

The QTP oil pump provides more volume of oil at a higher pressure relief setting. The pump is designed with a gerotor designed to displace more than 15% more oil than the original GM design. The relief spring installed in the pump is designed to increase the internal by-pass pressure setting an additional 10 psi. An additional spring is supplied which will reduce the internal by-pass pressure back to original settings. The pump design has also been improved by reducing flow restriction. In addition, pump materials have been changed to improve performance and durability. These changes improve the pump’s efficiency resulting in better performance especially during priming and at low rpm. This is not a ported oem pump. Brand new cast pump that will out performane any ported factory unit!.

A 2mm thicker gear rotor compared to the factory rotor.

The cover clears single roller timing chains. We are double checking for double roller setups since most come with sims. It wont be a problem because we can just change the program for a couple of more millimeters for clearance. Will update on that shortly.

The units are coming off the cnc machine and will be shipping most likely first of the year.

LS2 Quick Cam Cover will be ready in Feb/Mar.

Price of the Cover and Pump is $599.99.
Order before Dec 31st and it will be $550.00 shipped to your door.
You will not be charged until it ships.

Cover by itself is $425.00

Any questions feel free to call us.

More pictures can be found on the Quick Cam Cover Page.

I know aluminum is expensive, but man. I can see maybe $200 for the pump and $200-$250 for the cover TOPS. I may be out of line by posting prices, but I'm just trying to help you sell these. I don't think many people, including myself, would think it's worth $600.

Dear John
You might not think its worth the price, but its not a cheap stamped pice the factory one is made out of. Material alone is going up everyday and close to 3 hrs to make each piece on the CNC machine.

A GP sounds like a killer idea. Would making the cover bare, with no QTP logo, reduce the cost?

The logo is covered by the waterpump. So we are no going to do other logos. And the cover only comes as you see it. I will get a graph of the pump vs oem and post it tomorrow.

how does an aftermarket ls6 one compare to your HV pump? the reason i ask this is because i have one with like 200 miles on it, and while the motor is apart, im trying to decide if its worth getting yours or perhaps just getting the cover.
