Default hu mount questions...

just got my new HU mount for my 95 Z... it look AWSOME, but there is No brackets to hook it up to the car... am I missing something???

you need a kit, one of those 1.5 to 1 din kits

Hugh... Why would i need a kit if i paid 120 bucks for the mount...
Could you be more spacific... Like what kit???

Just talked to mark from humount... He told me what to get... If anyone wants to know its metra kit 02-4544 that you need unless you have your factory radio...

thats weird, when i had mine i remember it actually screwed in where the stock radio screwed in, but it was a while ago so maybe im not remembering correctly.

Thats what I thought too. I haven't installed mine yet, its too damn cold out.

The Humount is the mounting kit, you dont need to buy another one. Your aftermarket deck's mounting sleeve goes into the white plastic mount. That plastic mount screws to the dash using the factory radio screw holes.
