Default disable a alarm

how can u disable a alarm on a 1998 trans am... the horn and lights will go off about a min after locking the doors with the keyfab. as of now i just have the horn unpluged. but would rather not alarm and have a horn when driving... thanks for any help

My guess is the shock sensor is bad, just unplug it and see what happens. If you don't want it to function at all you can program it to off, or just lock your doors using the manual slide locks.

is that the black box that is just above the spare tire? if so i have unpluged it and still goes off
