Radio Accy Fuse Keeps Blowing????
Why is it that jsut recently my radio accy fuse keeps blowing? it has blown 3 times now. The first time was May 1st, then the 2nd and 3rd time was May 30th.... Is my radio, amp or something going out?
I have my switch panel wired up (e-cutout and manual fans HI and LOW) but that is on the fuse where the cigarette lighter is.. So i know that is now causing it to blow..
Any one have any ideas?

It's possible but the RADIO ACCY fuse feeds only the memory backup circuit on the radio and although it provides all the power for the amp (and the CD changer), those are less prone to failure than the power antenna.
Not exactly... to test it properly you'd have to know the current draw specifications and use an ammeter to test how much current it draws during each mode of operation (raising, lowering, fully extended, etc.) to see if they were within spec. But it's easy enough to just unplug it and see if the fuse stops blowing.
