Default Alarm going off

Hey folks. Been a good while since I've been on here. I'm having a strange problem with Camaro. When I lock it with the remote, it doesn't do anything till i start to walk away. Then it does the double beep (like if the gas cap gets slammed). But yesterday, my alarm kept going off ALL day and i couldn't figure out what to do. Some help would be greatly appreciated.

P.S. It did this around when I first bought the car, but then i disconnected the battery for a couple of days and didn't have the problem till now. And I don't really remember the weather when it happened before.

Unplug the Shock Sensor, It's located near your spare tire.
Usually moisture builds in it and causes it to misbehave.
You can open it and let it sit to dry and put it back in the car after a day or so.
You can also just unplug it for good like most of us have, unplugging it doesn't turn off your alarm completely.

An aftermarket alarm would replace your factory security system including the shock sensor.
