monitor mounting question
Has anyone ever tried to mount a lcd monitor where the slide out cup holder is under the center console on a camaro? (not sure if the trans ams have this or not). I picked up a lcd monitor from a friend for 40 bucks and im waiting for my dvd/mp3 player to come off backorder from the local store so i figured id take my time in figuring out where to place the monitor, and im thinking....
perhaps i can mount a braket so i can swing the monitor back and lay it against the passenger side by using the swivel thing where teh cup holder is.
any pics/opinions?
would this even work?
THanks
Travis

Sorry but I am not a fan of the sticky mount look! It just makes it look like it wasn't made to be there. I like flip outs or custom mounts. They just look cleaner. But anyways what size screen? I would say a strong bent mount that goes behind the stock radio trim and mounts straight to the back of the screen (no pivot mount). And when done should have tv edge chose to the trime. Or flush in the glove box.

I custom mounted an LCD in my dash.
It is not hard to do and it looks way cleaner than a swivel mount. I considered the swivel mount but I went with this would look way better.
