I have an autometer trans temp gauge & I was replacing the bulbs when the the signal wire touched the ground terminal. well It blew the fuse so I replaced the fuse after i rewired everything, no my trans temp gauge is pegged out at like *270 & want go back. Ive had this happen before but cant seem to remember How I got it back to zero. Has this happened to anyone? If so what did you do?

Are you sure that you didn't touch the hot to the signal wire? That'd fry a gauge quick.
If you didn't do that, make damn sure you have everything connected REALLY well, 'cause on my truck, I didn't have the signal wire in good on my water temp gauge, and it was pegged out like that. Check the signal wire at both ends, that'd be where I look.
