Default System Install

Had some fun over the weekend. I have an 04 GTO and installed the following:

Rockford Fosgate R165 (Rear quarters)
Rockford Fosgate R165-S (Front doors + tweeters)
Rockford Fosgate T1D410
JVC KW-AV61BT (With an Axxess ASWC steering wheel control adapter AND Alpine Power Pack)
Sony XM-ZZR3301 (Had it for 2 years, used in a bunch of vehicles)
NVX SDBP40 40 ft Bulk Pack (Sound Dampening Material, used almost all of it)

This is the most complete install I've ever tried on a car. I added the NVX (which works great, by the way) on the front doors (no pics), rear quarters, and trunk/trunk lid. It made the ride a lot quieter and the sound is oohhhh so clear. I used the stock location for the tweeters.

All I can say about the Rockford T1D410 is WOW. It's amazing what a high quality 10" sub can sound like. It's louder and MUCH clearer/precise than the 2 12"s I used to have in a ported box. Say what you want about Sony car audio products, but this amp has never let me down and it's a cool running powerhouse. I used 4 gauge power and ground wires.

I only took a couple pictures of the installation because I don't like stopping in the middle of it to take pictures in fear of getting distracted.

The KW-AV61BT is a great head unit. The Alpine Power Pack was a pain to install due to lack of space. Ended up drilling a 1" hole in the side of my glovebox and "mounting" it in there. It's actually pretty convenient since I can easily get to my gains. If you don't know about it, it's a compact amp that needs no extra power besides your stereo to run. 45 RMS x 4 at 4 ohm. It makes my Rockford components sound absolutely amazing and clear. I've never been happier with an audio system in my life. And it's cool to say I put it all in myself. I take the long way home just to listen to more music.

If there's anything you'd like to know about my install, just ask!

Forgot one. I added more NVX on the sides, but covered it back up before I realized I should take a picture.
