I need to know how to replace the bulb (what size) in the door handle trim on my 2001 T/A. Also my Rearview mirror (one burns brighter than the other)

I WILL BRING THIS BACK FROM THE DEAD.......anyone use an led from superbrightleds???
there is a SMD LED and a regular LED bulb. also i know the bulb shines into a red clear plastic. would it be dumb to get a red led bulb for extra red?
Also the SMD LED is 6 lumen and the normal LED is about 2 lumen. think the 6 lumen would be overly bright? am i being too in depth about these little lights?

A standard incandescent #74 bulb produces 9 lumens. However, the comparison may not be much help because lumens is a measure of light output in all directions but LEDs are very directional.
Always buy the LED color that matches the "lens" - in this case the red cover.
